Three Palestinians were shot and killed by Israeli forces inside a hospital in Jenin, an occupied West Bank city.
According to statements released on Tuesday by the Israeli army and the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the men were killed by undercover agents at the Ibn Sina Hospital while they slept.
The Health Ministry in Ramallah stated, “This morning, three young men were martyred by the bullets of the occupation [Israeli] forces who stormed the Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin and shot them.”

The men, who were hiding in, had been “neutralized,” according to the Israeli army belonged to a Hamas “terrorist cell” and was at the hospital.
The army statement also stated, “A gun was found on a wanted person, which was confiscated by the forces.”
One of the men “was hiding in the hospital and had recently been involved in promoting significant terrorist activity,” according to the report.
According to hospital director Naji Nazzal, “a group of Israeli forces entered the facility undercover and assassinated the men,” as reported by the AFP news agency.
He continued, “They used weapons that were silenced.”
The three men are identified as Muhammad Jalamnah, Muhammad Ayman Ghazawi, and Basel Ayman Ghazawi by the official Palestinian news agency Wafa.
Online security camera footage seemed to show roughly twelve undercover agents pacing, including two dressed as medical staff and three dressed as women through a hospital hallway armed with assault rifles.
The Israeli army’s “crimes will not go unanswered,” according to a statement from Hamas, which also stated that the killings are a “continuation of the occupation’s ongoing crimes against our people from Gaza to Jenin.”
According to the statement, one of the men was lying in bed with injuries when he was killed.
Of the three men, Hamas confirmed that one was with the Jenin Battalion and the other was one of its members. The third fighter was also from Palestine.
At midday, the three men’s funeral was underway as large crowds moved through Jenin’s streets in anticipation of offering funeral prayers and having them interred in the camp’s cemetery.

One of the three Palestinians killed in the hospital, according to the medical staff, was receiving treatment for an injury sustained during an earlier army raid months prior, according to Al Jazeera’s Charles Stratford, reporting from Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
He declared, “We have never seen an Israeli army operation like this inside a civilian medical facility since the start of the war on Gaza.”
Additionally, our correspondent stated, “The Israeli military will surround hospitals and has been accused of attacking medical facilities from a distance.”
“One can only imagine the terror of the patients and staff at,” he continued.
