The Haley campaign argues in favor of running in the Nevada primary
The campaign of Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley provided an explanation of why they chose to participate in the state’s primary rather than the party-organized GOP caucuses on Thursday, ahead of Tuesday’s primary.
“We haven’t invested a single penny or energy in Nevada.
We will not give $55,000 to a Trump organization in order to take part in a rigged election process.
Our focus has never been on Nevada.
During a press conference on Monday, Haley’s campaign manager Betsy Ankney stated, “I’m really not sure what the Trump team is up to out there, but they seem pretty spun up about it.”

Nevada voters have been somewhat confused by the competing contests as a result of Republicans’ decision to distribute their delegates through the caucuses.
Haley was among the Republican presidential candidates who registered to compete in the primary.

Donald Trump, the former president, decided to participate in the GOP caucus ballot rather than the primary, thereby ensuring his victory.
Prior to the GOP primary, Haley has been concentrating on her home state of South Carolina.
