NBC News predicts that former President Donald Trump has won the Nevada Republican caucus.
Based on the outcome, the Nevada Republican Party will distribute 26 delegates in a proportionate manner.

Although it doesn’t appear competitive right now, Nevada will be among the most valuable prizes in the general presidential election come November.
NBC News predicts that former President Donald Trump has won the Nevada Republican caucus.
Nevada is the first primary in the West for 2024, and come November, it will be a swing state that is closely monitored.
With just 50.1% of the vote—a little over 33,000 votes—in the 2020 general election, President Joe Biden prevailed in a state with 1.8 million registered voters.
The Democrats are in power.
Nevada in each of the previous four presidential contests. However, Republican Joe Lombardo won the governorship in 2022. Lombardo has already given Trump his presidential endorsement.
26 delegates will be distributed by the Nevada Republican Party in accordance with the outcomes of Thursday’s caucuses. In the small-scale in-person voting events, Trump’s win was virtually guaranteed.
The lone other candidate on the ballot was pastor and unlikely presidential candidate Ryan Binkley.
Former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley, Trump’s lone viable primary opponent, lost on Tuesday in the Nevada Republican primary.
Although there was only one Republican candidate, Haley, Nevada GOP voters could also choose to vote for “none of these candidates,” which is exactly what they did.
Sixty-three percent of the roughly 200,000 election participants voted against Haley, not in favor of anyone.
Haley decided to compete in the primary election, so Trump faced almost no opposition in Thursday’s caucus.
While candidates are limited to one competition, Republican voters who are registered to vote may cast ballots in both the caucus and the primary.
Betsy Ankney, the campaign manager for Haley, minimized the significance of this week’s Nevada races.
In a press conference held in front of Tuesday’s devastating defeat to “none of these candidates,” she declared, “We have not spent a dime nor an ounce of energy on Nevada.”
