Following a car crash into a motorcade at the campaign headquarters, Biden is unharmed.
As President Joe Biden left his campaign headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware on Sunday night, a car inadvertently collided with an SUV in his motorcade, resulting in damage to both cars and giving the impression that the president was startled.

As Biden entered his car, a car in the motorcade was struck by another vehicle, according to confirmation from the US Secret Service. A spokesperson for the Secret Service, Steve Kopek, told CNN in a statement that there was “no protective interest associated with this event,” indicating that the crash was not planned.
In Wilmington, it had been pouring rain.
“Another vehicle collided with a Secret Service vehicle protecting the President’s motorcade route in Wilmington, DE, at around 8:09 p.m. today. There was no safeguard.
The President’s motorcade and any related interest left without any problems, according to Kopek, who referred any more inquiries to the Wilmington Police Department.

There was a loud bang on the street from the crash, and Biden turned to see what was going on.
According to pool reporters accompanying Biden, US Secret Service surrounded the silver sedan that caused the collision and ordered the male driver to raise his hands.
The president’s SUV was not the one that was hit.
First lady Jill Biden was waiting for the president when she was led by Secret Service agents to his car.
The Biden were introducing themselves to staff members during a holiday happy hour at the president’s 2024 campaign headquarters.
