Theresa filed for a temporary restraining order against Jason just weeks before her murder, according to court records.

Jason later killed himself, and his body was discovered behind a house, according to KHON2. It was reported that the restraining order was approved.

The shooting happened in a parking lot close to Waimalu’sĀ  Pearlridge Center Honolulu, the NBC News reports with HT, close out the previous year and get ready for 2024! Go here to get there.

PEOPLE looked over the petition, claiming Theresa had accused Jason of making suicide threats while her kids were still alive. It is said that he put a knife to his own throat.

Following the incident, there was a wellness check, and it was then rumored that Jason returned to Theresa’s house and took refuge in the garage.

The couple had consented to a one-year protection order, and Jason had turned in his firearms as part of the agreement, according to court documents.

For her daughter, Theresa, Lucita, has created a GoFundMe page. As many of you are aware, on December 22, 2023, my daughter, “Tita,” was shot and killed at theĀ  Hawaii Bank parking lot.

I wanted to give my grandkids their Christmas presents, so she was coming over for breakfast that morning. This was not what my daughter deserved. She made a valiant effort to seek assistance, but the legal system let her down.

The page requests donations to help Theresa’s funeral costs, saying, “We are so devastated with the loss of our beloved Tita.”
