Tuesday, about 30,000 homes and businesses in Massachusetts are without electricity following a powerful storm that pounded the area on Monday with wind-driven rain.

Despite the difficult circumstances, Eversource workers were still working late Monday night to clear 115 blocked roads and restore power to approximately 132,000 customers.

Most of the outages were documented throughout towns in the Southeast of Massachusetts.
Due to a high wind on Monday morning, the Federal Aviation Administration issued a ground stop at Boston’s Logan Airport, but it was later lifted.
