This weekend, a major storm is expected to intensify as it moves up the East Coast from Florida, bringing with it heavy rain, blustery winds, coastal flooding, and the potential to produce a few tornadoes.

Strong Storm:1st To Spread East Coast Florida.
This is what’s taking place at the moment: Although it hasn’t formed yet, this storm over the Gulf of Mexico will by early Saturday.
A low-pressure system will form in the Gulf of Mexico as a result of several disturbances coming together, and it will get stronger as it moves up the East Coast.
Currently, rain is falling on the Plains due to one of those disturbances, while clouds and rain are currently covering the Gulf of Mexico due to the other.

The timing The Storm on Saturday and Saturday night: Heavy rain, strong winds, coastal flooding, and possibly tornadoes will be experienced as the storm approaches and moves across Florida.
Sunday afternoon/evening: Strong winds, a lot of rain, and some coastal up the Southeast and mid-Atlantic coasts, flooding will occur.

Monday: There will be heavy rain and wind throughout much of the Northeast. Over the Great Lakes, the Appalachians, and the interior Northeast, rain could turn to snow.
Possible Effects
Storm surge is a term usually reserved for hurricanes, but this storm will also pose a threat to coastal flooding, high surf, and beach erosion along Florida’s western coast late Saturday night and early Sunday, especially during high tide during those overnight hours.
The coastal Big Bend south to Tampa Bay, where the strongest winds overlap with an onshore component, is probably going to experience the worst flooding from this inundation.
In certain locations north and west of Tampa Bay, two to four feet of water are expected to accumulate.

Along the shore. Some of the more infamous towns and barrier islands will probably be partially or completely submerged as a result of this.
Along Florida’s Atlantic beaches, winds blowing onshore will also continue to cause high surf, coastal flooding, and beach erosion from Friday into the weekend.
This weekend and into Monday, there is a chance of strong waves, beach erosion, and coastal flooding along the Southeast and Northeast coasts.
Wind Forecast: This weekend and into Monday, blustery winds ahead of this storm system may result in sporadic power outages extending from Florida up the immediate East Coast.
In these regions, there may be gusts of up to 60 mph.
Threat from tornadoes: A few strong thunderstorms are possible for the Florida Peninsula late Saturday night into early Sunday.
Such storms could produce a few destructive winds or tornadoes.
Rainfall forecast: Some areas, especially in Florida and along the East Coast, may experience heavy rainfall. There will be two to four inches of rain in many of these places, but up to six inches in some.
The threat of flooding will increase as the heavy rain moves up the coast and towards the north.
